NEWQUAY PUTS YOU RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE ATLANTIC COAST AND THUS A HUGE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES AND AMENITIES, TO SUIT EVEN THE MOST DIVERSE OF TASTES

Beautiful walks can be taken along the miles of  rugged coastline or more inland on the historic Bodmin moors.

Cornwall also hosts many fine dining restaurants, within 20 minutes of Newquay you can find a number of top restaurants including:- Rick Steins seafood restaurant in Padstow, Viner’s, with a Michelin star chef and Ripley’s Michelin star restaurant in St Merryn. Only 5 minutes away, is also Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen at Watergate Bay.

Newquay is recognised as the home of English surfing, boasting 11 beaches over seven miles of golden sands, you are never too far away from a beach or surfboard. The apartment is located on Towan beach which is excellent for beginners on days, when the swell is low, and due to its sheltered position, if there is a large swell you’ll find some of the best surfers in England riding the Towan waves, and you’ll have the best view in town.

The world famous Fistral beach, home to the annual 'Board Masters', is the next beach along, and for those keen walkers, the route from Towan to Fistral is about as picturesque as it gets. Watergate and Perrenporth are also only a 10 minute drive.    

Due to the surfing nature of Newquay, extreme sports have also gripped the area. In low tide you’ll see kite boarders, wake boarders, canoeists and such. For those adventurers, lessons are available at most of the beaches.

If you wish to play a links course, 4, are within minutes of the apartment. Two of England's finest links courses, Trevose, and St Enodoc are no more than 10 minutes east and Perrenporth golf club only 10 minutes west.

Newquay itself has a fantastic Links Course that stretches the full length of Fistral beach, with amazing views across the Atlantic Ocean, and only five minutes away. 
However if you prefer a heath land course with stunning coastal views and countryside, there is no shortage.

If surfing, golf, extreme sports, picturesque walks, or fine dining are not your thing, then no fear Newquay still has much more to offer. Newquay has a zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium and many other activities. However you can simply relax and take in some of Cornwall’s beautiful and historic surroundings.

These include the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, many national trust landmarks including, Lanhydrock, Tintagel and Trerice. Lands End and Penzance are within 45 minutes, and closer than that is the beautiful fishing town of Mevagivissy and Rock the retreat of the rich and famous.
